4 Pines Truck Bar is the taproom at the 4 Pines brewery headquarters on Winbourne Road in Brookvale. The bar itself is a 1960 Dodge pickup parked on the brewery floor among the steel fermenters, fitted with around 20 taps of the brewery's own beer, plus cocktails and Brookvale Union ginger beer. It trades seven days from midday, with a pool table, an arcade up on the mezzanine, a big screen for sport and local musicians on the stage from Friday to Sunday. Functions start at 20 guests, and the venue says it can take up to 180. The half-venue option suits 80 to 100 people, either beside the brew tanks or in a roped-off part of the beer garden, with a mix of high and low seating that can be cleared for extra standing room and gas heaters overhead for cooler nights. Canapé packages cost $39 per person for four items or $49 per person for six, and a two-course share-style menu is $50 per person. The function menu draws on the kitchen's bar food: salmon ceviche and veggie tostadas, buttermilk or Nashville fried chicken, mac and cheese croquettes, mini cheeseburgers, jalapeño poppers, popcorn shrimp, mozzarella sticks and caramelised cauliflower bites. The two-course option adds mains such as 12-hour brisket or a fried chicken bucket with sides, and desserts like burnt cheesecake or mini donuts. Vegetarian and vegan items are marked.

Beverages

Drinks packages include 4 Pines Pacific Ale, Pale Ale, Japanese Lager and New World Pale Ale on tap, Brookvale Union ginger beer, an RTD of your choice, sparkling, white, rosé and red wine, 4 Pines Ultra Low and soft drinks.
