Photo Booth Hire for Any Occasion
Weigh up your options for photobooths, then enquire – free.
Between the main course and the first song on the dance floor, a photo booth fills the lull and leaves you with a pile of candid shots nobody would have taken otherwise. At a winery wedding, a 21st in a hired hall or a Christmas party at a bayside pub, it tends to become the busiest corner of the room.
Four photo booth hirers are listed for the Peninsula, all Melbourne-based businesses that advertise work down here, and one of them also offers DJ and MC services. None publish a price on their listings, so expect to ask for a quote.
Before you choose a booth, compare:
Booths need a flat, level spot near a power point and out of direct sun or wind. Send two or three hirers the same date, venue and hours, and compare the quotes they send back with no commission on top.

Four are listed, all Melbourne-based businesses that take Peninsula bookings. That is a short list, so enquire with several at once for busy dates.
None of the listed hirers show a price yet, so request a quote for your date and hours. Ask what is included, as prints, attendants and travel change the total.
Most need roughly three metres square plus a power point, and a 360 booth needs more. Tell the hirer the room size and where you plan to put it.
Only under cover and out of the wind, since sun, rain and gusts all cause problems. A verandah or marquee corner usually works.
Most hirers offer an online gallery or instant sharing as well as prints. Check how long the gallery stays live and whether you get every image.
Two to three hours suits most parties, timed for after dinner when guests are mingling. Ask what an extra hour costs if the night is going well.
Many hirers include one to set up, help with props and keep the printer running. Confirm it, especially for a big crowd or a 360 booth.
