FAQs

Does Party Hero take a commission?

Only on Concierge and Exclusive Booking Agent, our separate invitation-based services. On a subscription, you pay a flat monthly fee for visibility and tools and keep everything you charge your own customers. On Pro or Multi-Listing you can choose pay-per-booking instead – a flat fee per booking rather than a monthly fee, no percentage taken.

How does Pay Per Booking actually work?

Client enquiries stay inside Party Hero's messaging – the client's contact details aren't shown on your listing or shared with you yet. Once they're ready to book, the deposit is paid through Party Hero and our fee is applied automatically. From that point their full contact details are released to you, and you carry on – on the platform or off it – to finish the booking however suits you both. Taking a booking off-platform before the deposit is paid to avoid the fee breaches our terms and can result in your listing being cancelled.

What's the difference between pay-per-booking and Concierge?

Who does the work. On pay-per-booking, you manage the client and the booking yourself, so it's a flat $25 to $150 fee depending on category, not a percentage. With Concierge, our team qualifies the client and briefs you directly, so it's commission-based instead – negotiated per supplier, typically 10% to 20%.

What are Smart Tools?

What's the Supplier Community?

A place to ask other suppliers for help when you need it – think a boat hire company needing a DJ, or an entertainer needing an MC to fill in. Post a Callout and matching suppliers can see it and respond. Every listing can browse what's posted; upgrading to a paid plan gets you notified the moment one matches you, and lets you reply with your own offer.

How much does it cost?

There's a free tier to get listed, plus paid tiers that unlock more listings, more Smart Tools, priority placement and access to the Supplier Community.

How do I get approved?

Every new listing goes through a quick review, usually within a day, before it goes live. Your ABN is also matched against the ABN Lookup register so Party Hero stays a directory clients can trust.

Can I edit what's imported from my website before it goes live?

Yes – everything pulled in from your web page, from your description to the photos found, is fully editable before you publish, and every new listing still goes through the same quick review before it goes live.
