Everything to Know About Stretch Hummer Hire

A stretch Hummer makes the loudest arrival in the Blue Mountains, which is why it turns up at formals, 21sts and hens parties. The two H2 Hummers available here seat 15 and 17, with party lighting, a sound system and karaoke on board.

They cover the Lower Mountains, Mid Mountains, Katoomba and Leura, and the Upper Mountains around Blackheath.

Questions to settle first:

Group size: a 17-seat Hummer suits a bigger group than a stretch limo
Route: list pickups in order and check the vehicle can reach each address
Duration: general hire carries a one-hour minimum
Occasion: formal groups need alcohol-free rules confirmed, while adult groups can ask about BYO

Hummers are quoted per booking, and the price depends on hours, pickups and the day of the week. A Saturday in formal season books out well ahead, so lock in the date once the venue is confirmed.

Compare with limousines and party buses for the group's size and budget.

A stretch H2 is long, so pick wide pickup spots in older villages
Avoid tight cul-de-sacs and steep private entrances
Plan photo stops at lookouts with proper parking

Occasions that suit a Hummer

Year 12 formals with a group arrival
21sts and 30ths with music before dinner
Hens and bucks nights between venues in Katoomba and Leura

Before you pay

Ask what the hire rate covers
Check cleaning fees after a party
Confirm the backup vehicle if the Hummer is unavailable
