Event Furniture Hire Newcastle

Furniture hire turns a backyard, a park or a bare function room into somewhere guests can sit, eat, drink and dance. In Newcastle the hire companies listed here supply three different kinds of kit, so it pays to know which one you need before you start asking for quotes.

Novo Party Hire, in Islington, is the all-rounder for outdoor events: white chairs, timber tables, wine barrels, festoon lights, a timber dance floor, patio heaters and marquees. Its Wedding Ceremony Package seats 60 guests for $480, and delivery and set-up are included within 10 km of Islington.

Lovers Lane Weddings & Events focuses on the pieces that frame a celebration – service bars, tiered tables and draping – delivered from Hamilton North at a per-kilometre rate or collected by you, from $187.

Creative Events Hire & Weddings, with its showroom at Speers Point, specialises in ceremony seating: white chairs, arbours, aisle runners and a signing table, with set-up on the day available.

A quick checklist for furniture hire:

• Count seated guests, then add a few spare chairs
• Measure the space, including the path in for delivery
• Ask what's included: delivery, set-up and pack-down
• Plan cover and heating if you're outdoors after dark
• Confirm the pick-up time with your venue or host

All three cover the city, Merewether and The Junction, Western Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Pair tables and chairs with cover from marquee hire or finishing touches from party decorations.
