About Yering Station

Yering Station is a winery on the Melba Highway at Yering, on the site of the first vines planted in Victoria in 1838. Guests arrive along an avenue of old elms and through gardens to the cellar door, the Historic Barn and a modern restaurant. The restaurant is a stone and glass building looking across to the Yarra Ranges and the Great Dividing Range. Evening events book it exclusively for up to 150 seated or 300 standing, with pre-dinner drinks on the terrace beside the reflective pond. The Devaux Room is a private dining room inside the restaurant for 8 to 20 guests. The heritage-listed Historic Barn takes 30 to 60 for exclusive lunches, or up to 120 for a product launch. Group lunches use a chef's selection menu of two or three courses, and the barn runs its own barbecue grill package. Dinners come as a shared feast or plated menu, each paired with a four or five-hour drinks package of estate wines. Weddings hold the ceremony on the estate lawn, in the garden or on the grand terrace, then move into the restaurant for the reception. Ceremony spots seat up to 82, with the barn as the wet-weather option. The site names weddings, birthdays, engagements and corporate events, from team lunches to conferences in the boardroom or barn. Send an enquiry to book, and the team also runs estate tours for site visits.
