About Rochford Wines

Rochford Wines is a working winery on the Maroondah Highway in Coldstream. The estate has two restaurants, a cellar door, a lake among the pinot noir vines and an outdoor concert amphitheatre. Isabella's Restaurant is the main dining room, holding up to 200 in a shared setting. Upstairs, the Pinot Gallery takes private groups, while the outdoor terrace fits up to 80 and the Conservatory suits groups of 50 and more. Il Vigneto Pizzeria sits beside the lake with a retractable roof and a stage for weekend music. Its mezzanine is used for exclusive parties of 45 or more, and the area beneath it for groups from 25. Function menus come as shared platters or plated courses, with a glass of estate wine on arrival in the Isabella's packages. Il Vigneto serves banquet menus of platters, wood-fired pizzas and pasta. Drinks packages of two, three or four hours cover estate wines, beer, cider and soft drinks. Daytime functions run up to four hours and evening events up to five. The site names weddings, engagement parties, hens days, 21sts and milestone birthdays, plus corporate functions and conferences. Il Vigneto banquet packages are $49 per person for two courses or $55 for three. Isabella's plated packages are $60 per person for two courses or $70 for three, and shared packages are $65 or $75, each with a glass of wine on arrival.

A 25% deposit confirms the booking, with final payment due seven business days ahead. Public holidays carry a 15% surcharge, and each space has minimum numbers, with room hire charged when a booking falls short.

Food

Isabella's packages offer shared antipasto platters, a choice of mains such as slow-cooked beef shoulder, barramundi or duck, sides and an individual dessert. Il Vigneto banquets serve cured meats and cheese platters, chef-selected pizzas and pastas, sides and dessert.

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options appear across the menus, though the kitchens are not allergen-free. Celebration cakes can be pre-ordered.

Beverages

Drinks packages run for two, three or four hours, choosing four items from the Rochford or estate wine ranges plus beer, cider, soft drink and juice. A cocktail on arrival, extra glasses of wine and private wine or gin tastings can be added.

The venue does not allow BYO drinks.

What do function packages cost?

Il Vigneto banquet lunches are $49 per person for two courses or $55 for three. At Isabella's, plated packages start at $60 per person and shared packages at $65. Children under 12 are charged half the adult price.

Are drinks packages available?

Yes. Rochford range packages are $30 per person for two hours, $40 for three and $50 for four, and estate range packages are $35, $45 and $55. BYO drinks are not permitted.

Can we bring a birthday cake?

Yes, BYO cakes are welcome with a cakeage fee of $3.50 per person if you cut it, or $4.50 if the kitchen cuts and plates it. Cakes can also be ordered from the venue with 10 days' notice.

What deposit is needed to confirm a booking?

Isabella's packages need a 25% deposit, with final payment due seven business days before the function. Public holiday bookings carry a 15% surcharge.
