About Yarra Ranges Estate
Yarra Ranges Estate is a family-owned winery and restaurant on Coulson Road in Monbulk, set among its own vines with views across the hills between the Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges. Weddings are its main business, and it also runs private functions and celebrations. The reception room seats up to 150 guests, and large windows look straight out over the vineyard. A separate dance floor area sits beside it, with space for a band, a DJ or a photo booth. For ceremonies there are four onsite settings: a rose-lined vineyard pathway with a red brick staircase, a lawn among the vines, an undercover terrace and the Barrel Room, lined with wine casks. The terrace and Barrel Room give two indoor-weather options. Away from weddings, the estate hosts engagement parties, birthday celebrations, Christmas lunches and end-of-year cocktail parties, as well as corporate events and gala dinners. Function packages run from antipasto platters through to five-course menus, matched with the estate's own wines. The in-house chefs cater for vegan, gluten-free and other dietary needs when told ahead. Couples can also hire the venue with an approved outside caterer, who gets access to the full kitchen. The car park, entrance, accessible toilet and reception room are all on one level, and on-site parking is provided. Events finish by 11pm – send an enquiry with your date and guest numbers to book.
