About Forest Edge
Forest Edge sits high on Gembrook-Launching Place Road in the Dandenong Ranges, on a 20-acre property of gardens and farmland. The outlook runs across the Warburton and Yarra Ranges, and the estate has hosted weddings and private celebrations for more than twenty years. The main reception room has floor-to-ceiling glass facing the ranges, with seating for 120 or space for 150 for a cocktail-style event. A smaller private dining space suits intimate lunches and client dinners. For ceremonies there are two settings within a short walk of the reception room. The terraced garden is raised and open to the landscape, while the French-inspired wine bar has oak beams, a cathedral-height ceiling and a stone fireplace for a wet-weather plan or pre-dinner drinks. Beyond weddings, the venue takes birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties and family milestones, plus corporate lunches, leadership dinners, networking evenings and end-of-year gatherings. The main room handles screen setups and audio for speakers. Menus are prepared on site from seasonal, locally sourced produce, with formats ranging from canapés and grazing to plated two- or three-course meals. Dietary needs are catered for, and wedding packages come with five hours of unlimited drinks covering wine, beer on tap, cider and soft drinks. The events team works through the run sheet in advance and coordinates on the day. Ramps run throughout the grounds, and parking is on site. Beautiful venue!! We were driving by and just ordered some take away woodfire pizza which was amazing. The staff were so nice. Their restaurant and events area look beautiful and have glorious views. We will be back!
