About Wandin Park Estate

Wandin Park Estate is a private, family-run property of 320 acres on Victoria Road in Wandin North, looking across pasture to the Yarra Valley hills. The Anker family has worked this land for generations, and the estate now hosts weddings around its historic homestead. Couples have the estate to themselves on the day and choose between two reception settings. The Woolshed is a restored shearing shed with high ceilings, exposed timber trusses and fairy lights, and French doors open onto an east-facing deck. The Woolshed seats up to 150 guests, with more possible in a cocktail layout, and comes with a red-brick courtyard, fire pit and outdoor bar for pre-dinner drinks. Nearby ceremony spots include the courtyard, the feature gum tree, the indoor Shearer's Quarters and the homestead gardens. The Grand Marquee sits higher on the property, reached along a 70-metre red-brick arbour lined with grapevines. It holds up to 250 guests at oak-wood tables under crystal chandeliers, with a slate-look dance floor, leather lounges, a grand piano and room for a band or DJ. Catering comes through the estate's partner caterer, with cocktail, alternate-drop and shared feasting menus starting from $89 per person, or couples can bring in their own suppliers. Catering packages through the estate's partner caterer start from $89 per person, and each can be paired with a standard or premium bar option. Venue hire pricing is not published, so send an enquiry for a quote.

Food

Three package styles are offered: a cocktail menu with an hour of canapés followed by roving mini bowls, a seated alternate-drop entrée and main, or a feasting menu of shared platters and bowls served to each table after canapés.

Packages include a menu tasting, waiting and bar staff, glassware, meals for dietary needs, a tea and coffee station and cutting of the wedding cake.

Beverages

Every catering package can be paired with a standard or premium bar option. Both reception spaces have their own bar, and the Woolshed adds an outdoor bar for drinks in the courtyard.

Is there somewhere for the wedding party to get ready?

Yes. The historic homestead has a bridal suite, decorated with pieces collected from around the world, where the couple and family can relax and prepare close to the ceremony spots.
