About Projekt 3488
Projekt 3488 is a wedding venue in a converted Masonic Lodge on the Warburton Highway in Warburton, at the upper end of the Yarra Valley. The owners run it themselves, and the whole building and its gardens are given over to a single wedding each day. Inside, the hall mixes repurposed timber, industrial furniture and sculptural lighting, with an upstairs loft above. Outside there is a deck with a bar looking out to the mountains, a cast iron fire pit, boardwalks and a garden of snow gums, grass trees and linked ponds. The main hall seats up to 110 guests for dinner, and the venue takes 140 for a cocktail-style reception. Vows can be said on the deck, in the hall or in the loft, so there is a choice for every season. Dinner is served at long Oregon timber tables built on concertina frames. Once the meal is done they fold back into tiered seating along the walls, revealing the dance floor while the lighting changes and the mirror ball starts turning. Catering comes from the venue's appointed caterer and is quoted separately from venue hire. Drinks run as a five-hour package of local wines, sparkling, beer and cider, with a cocktail on arrival or a gin bar available as extras. Hire runs for five hours and more time can be added. A sound system ready for a DJ or band, a cordless microphone, candles, glassware, tableware, set-up and pack-down all come with the hire. Send an enquiry to book.
