About Storm Ridge Estate
Storm Ridge Estate is a working vineyard, cellar door and seasonal restaurant on the Maroondah Highway in Coldstream. Michael Warren founded it in 1993, and the vineyard now grows Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Shiraz alongside a boutique on-site house. The estate takes weddings and private functions, from small elopements up to larger receptions. Couples can hold the ceremony on the lawn overlooking the vines, then move into the indoor dining room or the dedicated events space for the reception. Beyond weddings, the team runs engagement parties, big birthdays and corporate retreats, as well as long celebratory lunches and dinners. Groups run from around ten guests to a hundred, and exclusive-use packages hand your group the gardens, event spaces and on-site house for the duration. All catering comes from the estate's own restaurant kitchen, which writes seasonal menus around local produce and its own wines. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes are offered, and a private dining room seats up to 18 for smaller lunches or dinners. Packages are flexible, from a ceremony-only booking to a full wedding or a weekend takeover of the property. Menus, wines, music and styling can all be tailored, and wet-weather plans move the day indoors to rooms with vineyard outlooks. In autumn the rows of maple trees across the property turn red and gold, giving autumn events a distinctive backdrop. Private site visits are by appointment – send an enquiry to book a time.
