About Stones of the Yarra Valley
Stones of the Yarra Valley sits on St Huberts Road in Coldstream, on land first planted with vines in the 1860s. The old barn, stables and blacksmith's workshop were restored into event spaces, and the estate has run weddings and functions since 2006. The Barn is the main reception room, seating 65 to 200 guests under high timber trusses. Its floor-to-ceiling windows face the vineyard and the ranges beyond, and it has its own bar, a dance floor and doors out to a courtyard. The Stables is the smaller reception room, seating 40 to 63 with up to 80 standing. Original brickwork, a chandelier and a heritage bar sit inside, with a festoon-lit open-air loggia outside. The Warehouse, with a private courtyard, takes similar numbers for seated or cocktail events. Wedding ceremonies are held in The Chapel, which seats 160 to 180, or out on the grounds. Guests then move to The Dairy for roaming canapés, a cheese grazing station and drinks before the reception. All food and drink is handled in-house, with seasonal menus served alternate drop or as shared La Famiglia platters. A free-flowing package of estate wines, beer and cider runs from canapé hour to the end of the reception. Corporate clients book the estate for conferences, product launches, gala dinners and team days with lawn games and cocktail classes. Pricing
A venue hire fee of $2,900 applies, and minimum spends are set by reception room, day and season, reducing in winter. Public holiday weddings attract an extra fee, set at $2,800 for The Barn and half that for The Stables. A single-day conference package is $150 per person for 10 to 40 delegates.
Food
Couples choose alternate-drop plates or the shared La Famiglia style, with a choice-menu upgrade available. Extras include an oyster bar, charcuterie, a gelati cart and late-night snacks.
Beverages
A premium wine upgrade, a gin cart, cocktails, a Champagne bar and a Champagne tower can be added. Non-alcoholic wine, beer and sparkling are available on request.

What do the wedding packages cost?
Lunch wedding packages are priced from $295 per guest and dinner weddings from $310 per guest, rising slightly for later years. A venue hire fee of $2,900 applies on top. Minimum spends depend on the reception room, the day and the time of year, and they come down from June to August.
Can we bring our own caterer or drinks?
No. The estate is fully licensed and all food and drinks are provided by its own kitchen and bar team. Dietary requirements and medically advised allergies are catered for when supplied ahead of the day.
Where is the ceremony held if it rains?
Outdoor ceremonies move into The Chapel at no extra charge. The Chapel seats 160 to 180 guests, with mezzanine standing room taking it to around 200.
Are dogs allowed at events?
Yes, dogs are welcome to join the celebration, including the processional and photos. Horse and carriage arrivals can also be arranged through approved suppliers.
