About Riverstone Estate
Riverstone Estate sits on Skye Road in Coldstream, on a 75-acre spread of vines and farm paddocks beside the Yarra River. The family behind it trace their story to founder Peter Inglese, who came to the Yarra Valley from Italy as a boy and grew up in Healesville. At the centre of the property is a homestead dating from 1996, made of bluestone with reclaimed Oregon timber about a century old. It looks out across the vines in every direction, with the Yarra Ranges filling the horizon. Functions are held in the Bluestone Room, a lofty architect-designed space hung with chandeliers. It has a bluestone fireplace and a bar reserved for your group, and it seats up to 70 with a dance floor or takes 120 standing for a cocktail event. Before dinner, guests can gather on the outdoor terrace with the mountains in view. The alfresco bar is set up in the warmer months, and in winter the fire in the foyer is lit for arrivals. The room is a plain canvas, so you can bring your own flowers, candles and decorations, or have the team set everything up to your plan before you arrive. The estate takes weddings, private functions and corporate events, and couples can book a tour of the venue first. Is there somewhere outside for pre-dinner drinks?
The outdoor terrace looks over the vineyard to the Yarra Ranges and is used for drinks before dinner. An alfresco bar runs in summer, and in cooler months guests gather by the fireplace in the foyer.
Can we see the venue before booking a wedding?
