About North Beach Pavilion
North Beach Pavilion trades from the historic bathers pavilion on Cliff Road at North Wollongong Beach, a casual restaurant and bar that opens early for breakfast and stays open late from Thursday to Sunday. Its deck runs along the beach, so most tables look straight out over the sand and the water. Groups are seated across the deck and the dining room, with set-menu bookings taken for 10 to 48 guests over a three-hour lunch or dinner seating. Parties of more than 40 are spread over different sections of the venue rather than shut away in a private room. For larger occasions the events team takes private bookings of 75 or more guests from 6pm, with hire fees and minimum spends quoted on enquiry. Wedding receptions are held cocktail style inside the pavilion, with the team setting up and packing down. The group menu starts at $65 per person and is served to share: garlic bread, arancini, bruschetta and salt and pepper squid, then wood-fired pizzas, three pastas and a rocket salad. Hosts can add antipasto platters, a welcome cocktail or a shared dessert of Nutella calzones and fruit. Drinks can run on a cash bar, a tab set to your budget, or a two-hour package of beer, wine, cider, spritzes and soft drinks. Shared dishes are adjusted for most dietary needs, and guests with severe allergies are served individual meals.
