About The Pavilion @ Club Blacktown
Club Blacktown, the club once known as City of Blacktown RSL, sits on Second Avenue in Blacktown, around a five-minute walk from Blacktown railway station. Alongside its bars and restaurants it runs a set of dedicated function rooms, and The Pavilion is the one built with celebrations in mind: an indoor-outdoor room on Level 1 that the club recommends for engagements, birthdays and corporate events. The room covers 340 square metres and the club quotes up to 170 guests, a figure based on theatre seating, so the workable number shifts with the layout you choose. Exposed brick, timber beams and a wall of windows keep it bright, and it looks out over the club's alfresco dining area. It has a private bar for your group, two large-screen TVs and current audio-visual gear for speeches, slideshows or presentations. For bigger crowds the club also has Horizons on Level 3, which holds up to 500, and smaller rooms such as Sapphire and the Sanctuary rooms. Catering comes from the restaurants inside the club. Villaggio covers Italian and Mediterranean dishes and can work around dietary needs, while Ocean Treasure offers Cantonese dishes, dim sum and yum cha. Function packages and pricing are not listed online; the functions team sends them on request, and it helps plan menus, room layout and the running of the day.
