Heritage Lounge is a cocktail and whisky bar on level 1 of 215-217 Church Street in the centre of Parramatta. It fills part of the old Bank of New South Wales building, completed in the late 1920s and since restored, and the ionic pillars at the front, along with an H motif repeated through the fit-out, give it a deliberately old-world feel. A smart-casual dress code applies. For events, the bar sets aside private areas and pairs each group with a dedicated host, with VIP bottle service available alongside. Bookings through the event form cover groups of up to 20 with start times from 3pm to 12:30am, and larger parties are handled by phone so the team can plan the space. The venue has not published capacities or room names, so ask about numbers and layout when you enquire. Drinks are the main draw: signature and barrel-aged cocktails, flight boards, a long list of Scotch and world whiskies, and rarities such as a Gordon and MacPhail Glenlivet 1940, bottled at 80 years old, and the Glenfiddich 50 Year Old. For functions the kitchen supplies canapés and hors d'oeuvres. The bar runs on a tab system, and a credit card may be requested on arrival. Opening hours are 4pm to 1am on weekdays and 3pm to 1am on weekends.
