About Penrith Golf Club
Penrith Golf Club is a public par-72 course on The Northern Road, roughly 700 metres from the M4 and a short drive from central Penrith. Its clubhouse, home to The Fairway restaurant and bar, looks across the fairways towards the Blue Mountains, and the club runs a steady calendar of private functions alongside everyday dining and golf. The clubhouse has two balconies and a terrace facing the course, plus an indoor function room the club says holds up to 130. Across these spaces it hosts events for 30 up to 160 guests. The terrace can be booked for exclusive use once you have 80 or more people, which suits a larger Christmas party or reception. The club lists birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, graduations, corporate events, Christmas parties and weddings among the occasions it looks after, and photos show both long-table dinners on the terrace and round-table setups. Menus are chosen with the functions team and can run from a three-course sit-down meal to a buffet, adjusted for dietary requirements. For drinks you can run a bar tab or let guests pay at the bar. The team also helps with floor plans, table styling, decorations and entertainment, and invites couples and hosts to walk through the clubhouse before booking.
