About Nepean Rowing Club

Nepean Rowing Club, known locally as The Rowers, has been part of Penrith since 1928. The clubhouse is at 32 Bruce Neale Drive on the bank of the Nepean River, and alongside the rowing side of things it runs a bar, a bistro called Paddles by Maze and a busy calendar of functions. The function spaces are flexible and look out over the water. The club says it can host groups from around 10 people up to roughly 180, so the same building suits a small family lunch, a 50th birthday party or a full sit-down reception with dressed tables. Weddings, engagements, birthdays, presentations, corporate events and celebrations of life are all on the list of occasions it takes. Before visiting, you can walk through the rooms on the club's virtual tour. Functions are looked after by the Maze Group events team, who work through menus, beverages and entertainment with you once you send in the date, the occasion and an estimate of guest numbers. The club does not publish function package prices online, so expect a quote after your enquiry. Paddles also serves weekend breakfast and daily lunch and dinner, which is handy for smaller groups who would rather book a table than a room.
