Elements Bar & Grill Walsh Bay is a steakhouse and bar on Pier 8/9 at 23 Hickson Road, Millers Point, one of the Elements restaurants in Sydney (the other is in Pyrmont). It opens for lunch and dinner seven days, and the menu centres on grilled steaks, from everyday cuts to pre-ordered wagyu tomahawks, alongside seafood, pasta and share plates. The restaurant sits inside a heritage wharf shed, so the room has high steel trusses, worn timber floorboards and glazing that opens the space up to the harbour. A long back bar lined with lit bottle shelves anchors the room. Inside there is seating for about 200 guests, with another 48 seats on the outdoor deck by the water, and the whole venue can be taken over for a cocktail-style event of up to 500 people. Smaller groups book a set menu, and there are several to choose from: two or three courses ranging from $104 to $198 per person, plus dedicated menus for vegetarian and vegan, gluten-free and pescatarian guests. Beverage packages can be added, and for exclusive hire the events team quotes a minimum spend to suit the date and the brief. Canapé and cocktail formats, buffets and seated dinners are all offered, and the team can arrange the AV side of an event.
