About Hyde Park Ballroom @ Doltone House Hyde Park
Doltone House Hyde Park is on Elizabeth Street, across from Hyde Park and a short walk from St James and Museum stations. Its Hyde Park Ballroom is one of the largest function rooms in the CBD, and its defining feature is a long, column-free floorplan, so every table can see the stage and the dance floor. The finish is contemporary banquet: high ceilings, oversized chandeliers and a bold circular-pattern carpet, with dark ceiling panels and integrated uplighting that can be set to any colour. It seats up to 480, holds 650 standing, 500 theatre-style or 400 cabaret-style, which covers a wedding reception, a gala dinner, a formal or a major work Christmas party. There's an installed dance floor and a built-in PA, and you can bring a DJ or your own music. Catering is in-house, with kosher and extensive vegetarian menus. The room is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible with a step-free entrance and accessible toilets.
