About Dee Why RSL

Dee Why RSL sits at 932 Pittwater Road in Dee Why, a few minutes from the beach and about 20 kilometres from the city, with buses pulling up out the front. Its events arm, DY Events, looks after private functions across the building, and the club also runs several restaurants and bars, a bottle shop and a bowling and games centre. The Showroom is the headline space: a two-level room with a stage and dressing rooms, a large built-in dance floor, its own bar and full sound and lighting, set up for gala dinners of up to 500. Next door, the semi-private Lounge has two walls of floor-to-ceiling glass, a feature light installation and a long marble bar, and works as pre-dinner drinks space or a room on its own. The Oaks Room takes up to 200, splits into two, and comes with a private bar, dance floor, its own bathrooms and a bridal suite. The two Luana rooms each seat 20 to 50, or open into one room for 90, while the Jackson Room hosts up to 30. For something more casual, the Courtyard suits birthdays, hens nights and baby showers, and Battery House, the sports bar, offers semi-private areas in front of a giant screen. Packages are built to order. The enquiry form covers event type, length, preferred space, guest numbers, catering and audio-visual needs, and the events team follows up with options and a quote.

This place has come a long way since the 80s when it was a single-level beer barn with bands every weekend. Now it’s a modern multi-storey venue, with a choice of dining options and options for shows and functions. Price…
