About Unicorn Parties Sydney
Unicorn Parties Sydney is a family business that started around eight years ago, and its unicorns are the family's own pet ponies. The star is Flash, a small white pony with a rainbow mane and tail, joined by Merlin, and a team of unicorn trainers and a Unicorn Knight who travel with them to birthday parties, events and schools around Sydney. Each party runs for an hour with two staff in costume and one unicorn. It opens with the Unicorn Knight blowing a trumpet to set the scene before Flash trots in with his trainer. The children then have a lesson in caring for a pony, covering grooming, cleaning up, safety and handling, before meeting Flash up close to brush his hair, plait his mane and add bows and ribbons. Flash then shows off by jumping and running a small course and responding to commands, the kids take turns leading him around the yard and help saddle him for unicorn rides. Temporary tattoos, stickers, stamps and dress-ups are part of the package, along with photos and a chalk drawing contest, all set to background music. The standard party costs $580. Extras include more time, up to four unicorns, horseshoe decorating, printed photos, a live photo peg board and themed lolly bags. The family also runs dinosaur parties and unicorn photo shoots. The team is fully insured and Working With Children certified.

How much is a unicorn party?

What happens during the party?
