About Games on the Bus
Games on the Bus parks a fitted-out video gaming bus outside your home, school or venue anywhere in Sydney. There are two buses. The smaller one has three 55 inch screens running Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X, plus two arcade machines, and takes up to 16 players. The larger one adds a fourth screen, four arcade machines and two racing simulators that can be played with VR headsets, and takes up to 24. The consoles are linked to each other rather than the internet, so the kids play against the friends sitting beside them. The bus is air-conditioned and heated. Parties are for children aged 8 to 17. Adults do not board, apart from a quick photo once the coach says so. Each party has a dedicated Game Coach who helps players, keeps turns fair and supervises the whole session, and the team hold first aid training, working with children checks and police checks. Food and drinks are not allowed on board, so plan to serve them before or after the gaming. Players need closed shoes, and anyone with light-sensitive epilepsy, motion sickness or a heart condition should be mentioned when booking. The Gold package is two hours on the 16-player bus and the Platinum package is two hours on the 24-player bus. Both include printable party invitations and a printed colour group photo taken by the bus at the end. Games can be chosen ahead, and titles can be excluded by rating. The bus brings its own generator, so no power is needed, but you do need to reserve roughly 11 metres of clear kerb for the smaller bus or 15 metres for the larger one. If there is no room outside, the party can move to a nearby park or hall.

What age group is Games on the Bus for?
Children aged 8 to 17. Babies, toddlers and kids under 8 are not allowed on board, and adults stay outside apart from a quick photo once the Game Coach gives the okay.
How much does a Games on the Bus party cost?
The Gold package is $559 including GST for two hours and up to 16 kids, and the Platinum package on the bigger bus is $699 for two hours and up to 24 kids. Extra guests are $11 each, a travel and toll surcharge from $50 may apply, and public holidays attract a 10% surcharge.
How much space does the bus need?
Allow about 11 metres of clear parking for the 16-player bus and about 15 metres for the 24-player bus, with room on the left side for kids to board. Unit residents can use street parking, and if nothing suitable is available the party can be moved to a nearby park or community hall.
Can we eat and drink on the bus?
No. Food and drinks are not permitted on board, so serve party food before or after the gaming session. Kids wash their hands before boarding and must wear closed shoes.
When can we book and how far ahead?
Parties run Tuesday to Sunday in morning, afternoon or evening slots, and the bus is closed on Mondays. Book through the online request form or by phone, pay a deposit to hold the date, and send any game requests or rating exclusions at least two weeks before the party.
