About Allfriends AV Hire
Allfriends AV Hire grew out of Sydney's underground music and arts scene, and the people behind it have spent around two decades running events, performing and building sound systems. That background shows in the gear list: Pioneer DJ controllers and players, full-range speakers with heavy subwoofers, laser and LED lighting, smoke and haze machines, projectors and screens, LED screens and TVs, microphones, and staging and truss. Their gallery is full of club nights and harbourside parties they have rigged, including a clear-roofed marquee dance floor with the Opera House behind it. For a private party the packages are the easy way in. They group speakers and subs, DJ gear, lights and lasers, smoke machines and microphones into bundles sized for smaller rooms through to bigger venues, and speakers come with stands. If you are unsure what a space needs, the team will talk through the venue, the guest count and the budget and recommend a set-up, which suits a birthday in a warehouse as much as a rooftop dance party. Delivery, set-up and pack-down across Sydney can be added at checkout, and technicians can stay on for support if anything needs attention on the night. Everything is booked through the equipment hire pages on their site or by phone, and the Marrickville warehouse is open Monday to Saturday. The same building also houses a soundproofed DJ practice and production studio that can be booked by the hour.
