About Brookvale AV

Brookvale AV works out of Unit 6, 51 Chard Road, Brookvale, hiring audio, vision, lighting, atmospherics, truss and staging to anyone who books online, and running live event production, venue installations, QSYS programming, service and sales alongside it. The dry hire catalogue is the part most party organisers use. It covers QSC, Electro-Voice and Turbosound powered speakers and subwoofers, Yamaha and Allen and Heath consoles, Shure and Sennheiser microphones, parcans, moving heads, lasers, battery uplights, icicle fairy lights, smoke machines and hazers, plus a Vonyx DJ booth, turntables and CDJs. Packages take the guesswork out of choosing. The Basic Hire Package is $70, the Music Hire Package $100 and a package sized for 50 to 100 people $135. A Battery Uplight Hire Package is $140, the Band Hire Package $210, and the Entertainment Hire Package, which puts sound and lighting together, $250. Individual items are cheap enough to fill gaps: party parcans from $20, a Beamz smoke machine or a Showtec LED wash at $30, a Vonyx DJ booth or a moving head wash at $50, QSC powered speakers between $60 and $75, and subwoofers at $100 and $120. Prices shown on the site are before GST. Most hires are collected from Brookvale, where there is parking and a loading zone, and staff will run through the basics of the gear at handover. Delivery, setup, operation and pack down can be added in the checkout notes and are quoted back, currently within Sydney. A one day hire means 24 hours, with everything due back the next morning, and extensions are usually fine if the gear is not booked. A bond of $250 to $500 is authorised on your card and released after the equipment is inspected.

Party parcans, a Shure Beta 58 and a pair of Huxley wireless microphones are $20, a Shure SM58 $25, a Beamz Rage 1000 smoke machine, a Showtec NanoQ LED wash, standard parcans and white icicle fairy lights $30, and a battery powered uplight $35. A Vonyx VSA12BT speaker, a Vonyx DB4 DJ booth, a Cobra wash moving head, an RGB pan bar and an ETC Source 4 JNR are each $50. QSC powered speakers run $60 for a K8.2, CP8 or CP12, $65 for a K10.2 and $75 for a K12.2, with KS112 and KS212C subwoofers at $100 and $120. A Bose S1 Pro+ battery speaker is $100, a Traktor Kontrol S2 $120, a Rosco V hazer $190, an Allen and Heath QU16 $200 and an SQ5 $250, and a 65 inch 4K screen $600. Packages are $70 basic, $100 music, $135 for 50 to 100 people, $140 battery uplights, $210 band and $250 entertainment. Delivery, setup and operating crew are quoted separately.

Hire stock is grouped into audio, vision, lighting, atmospherics, truss and staging, and accessories. Audio covers QSC K and CP series powered speakers, KS112 and KS212C subwoofers, Electro-Voice ZLX, Turbosound NuQ, Vonyx and Nexo boxes, a Bose S1 Pro+ battery speaker for sites with no power, Yamaha MG and Allen and Heath QU, SQ and CQ consoles, Shure, Sennheiser and Huxley microphones, DI boxes, in-ear monitors and stands. Lighting covers parcans, battery uplights, moving head washes, pinspot movers, RGB pan bars, an ETC Source 4 profile, a 500mW green laser, a Photon X effect light and white icicle fairy lights, with Beamz, Chauvet and BeamZ smoke machines and Unique and Rosco hazers for atmospherics. There are also projectors, displays, cameras, streaming encoders, drapes, F33 and F34 truss and Megadeck staging. Collection is from Unit 6, 51 Chard Road, Brookvale, where there is parking and a loading zone, and staff give a basic demonstration at handover, with a fuller run through on request if you ask in advance. Delivery, setup, operation and pack down are a separate paid service, requested in the checkout notes, quoted back and currently offered within Sydney. A one day hire is a maximum of 24 hours with everything due back the following morning, extensions are usually approved if the gear is not booked, and early returns are generally accepted at no extra cost. A bond of $250 to $500 is authorised against your card and released after inspection and testing, normally within five business days.
