About Star Party Hire
Star Party Hire runs a large event-equipment warehouse on Princes Street in Riverstone, in Sydney's north-west, and has been renting party furniture since 2005. Marquees sit at the centre of the range. Pop-up gazebos with white PVC roofs come in sizes from 2.4 metres square up to long 16 by 4 metre runs, pagodas with their pointed roofs come in 3 to 6 metre widths that join together, and structure marquees in 6 to 15 metre widths suit weddings and big functions, with clear roof and wall panels available for a garden or evening look. Around the marquee you can add almost everything else a party needs. The furniture side covers trestle, round and bar tables, Tiffany, gladiator, cross-back and throne chairs, glow furniture that lights up, kids' tables and table linen. Wooden and white dance floors, modular indoor and outdoor stages, sound and lighting packages, projectors and LED screens handle the entertainment, while neon word signs, plinths, cake stands, slushie machines, heaters and misting fans fill out the details. Several themed jumping castles are also on the books for children's parties. Booking starts online: add items to a quote cart, submit it without paying, and the team replies by email to confirm details. A 30 per cent deposit holds the order, with the balance due the week before the event. Marquee prices include installation and removal on grass where the frame can be pegged, while side walls and weights cost extra and weights are needed on hard surfaces. Delivery is charged by location, a site visit can be booked for larger marquees, and small orders can be collected from the warehouse instead.

How much does the smallest marquee cost?
A 2.4m x 2.4m pop-up seating about six is listed at $100 before GST, roughly $110 with GST. A 3m x 3m for ten seated guests is $130 plus GST, and a 6m x 6m for forty seated is $370 plus GST.
Is set-up included with a marquee?
Yes. The crew installs the marquee and takes it down afterwards. Standard pricing assumes a grassed area it can be pegged into; walls and weights are extras, and weights are required on concrete or other hard surfaces.
Which areas do they deliver to?
Their marquee pages list delivery across metropolitan Sydney, the Blue Mountains and the Central Coast. The delivery fee depends on the event address, and smaller orders can be picked up from the Riverstone warehouse.
Do they hire jumping castles?
Yes. The range includes a princess castle measuring 3m x 3m, Minions and Spiderman designs and an obstacle-course castle, listed between $170 and $220 before GST.
What deposit do they take, and what if it rains?
A 30 per cent non-refundable deposit reserves the gear, and the rest is payable during the final week before the event. Cancelling within seven days is non-refundable, seven to fourteen days out earns a 50 per cent credit or refund, and wet-weather cancellations follow the same rules.
