About TINTA Belmont
TINTA Belmont is a coastal restaurant on the Pacific Highway in Belmont, sitting right on the edge of Lake Macquarie. It cooks a contemporary menu built around local seafood and produce, with a wine list leaning on New South Wales producers, and it opens Wednesday to Sunday from 11:30am. For functions the whole venue is yours, with sunset views over the lake from the dining room and the outdoor deck. Seated events take up to 100 guests, or 80 if you want a dance floor, at long communal tables. Standing cocktail parties hold 120 indoors, or around 150 when the outdoor areas are used as well, weather permitting. The booking includes exclusive use, event coordination and staff, tables and chairs, cutlery, crockery and napery, plus a microphone, lectern and an in-house PA you can connect a phone to. Amplified music has to finish by 11pm. Food is either roaming canapés for two, three or four hours, a two- or three-course alternate-drop dinner, or a chef's selection of shared plates for the table. You can add pre-dinner canapés, an oyster, sashimi, paella or sweets station, or a cocktail on arrival. Beverage packages come in bronze, silver and gold levels for two to five hours, or drinks can run on consumption. A 30% deposit confirms the date, and final numbers and menu choices are due 14 days before the event.

A little mixed review. I did expect better food. But the cocktails were amazing. And the staff were also amazing! And loved the location. Would definitely come back and try different things on the menu.
