About The Barn @ The Peacock Estate
The Peacock Estate is a celebration venue on Mornington-Tyabb Road in Tyabb, built around a 1914 timber church, a rustic barn, a courtyard and a vintage lounge. The Barn is its main party space and the setting for most receptions. Inside, a canopy of fairy lights covers the ceiling and a light-up Let's Dance sign marks the dance floor. A wall of apple crates, a nod to Tyabb's orchard history, runs the full length of the room and can be styled however you like. The Barn holds up to 120 guests for a cocktail party or 60 at seated tables. Its large doors open straight onto the courtyard, so guests drift between the dance floor and the open air through the night. The courtyard is paved and shaded by mature trees, with picnic tables, lounge seating and an outdoor bar that can be reserved for your event. The church and the Peacock Lounge are a few steps away, keeping a whole wedding on the one site. Catering is up to you: book a food truck, bring in grazing tables or cater it yourself. Drinks come from the estate's bar, which pours Mornington Peninsula wines, craft beers and cocktails, either bought by guests or run on a bar tab. The estate hosts weddings, engagement parties, milestone birthdays, hens days and Christmas parties. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to start planning.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests can The Barn hold?
The Barn takes up to 120 guests for a cocktail-style event or 60 for a seated meal. Exclusive hire of the estate also allows up to 120 guests across the site.
Can we bring our own catering?
Yes. The estate lets you choose your own caterer, including food trucks such as pizza ovens or taco vans, grazing suppliers, or self-catering. You can also bring your own non-alcoholic drinks.
How do drinks work?
Alcohol is served only through the estate's bar, which offers local Mornington Peninsula wines, craft beers and cocktails. Guests can buy their own drinks, or the host can set up a bar tab.
Can we hold the ceremony on site too?
Yes. The 1914 timber church sits a few steps from the courtyard and The Barn. Couples can marry in the church and move straight to the reception without travelling.
What wedding packages are offered?
There are three: Blank Canvas for couples who want to style everything themselves, Bells and Whistles with props and furniture for ceremony and reception, and Luxe, which adds decor, cocktails, grazing tables and styling. Ceremony-only bookings, micro weddings and elopements are also offered.
