About Somerville Hotel
The Somerville Hotel is a traditional pub on Station Street in Somerville, with a front bar, a family bistro and a sports bar. The front bar has its original heritage brick wall exposed, a timber bar top and a heated courtyard. Functions use two areas. The Beer Garden is fully enclosed and has booth seats, a high ceiling and a big screen, and takes up to 100 guests for a cocktail event. The Alfresco room opens off the bistro and suits semi-private dining for up to 40 seated or 50 standing. Big windows bring in natural light, with air conditioning and fans for summer and heaters for winter. Cocktail packages cover five hours and bundle room hire, roaming security, staff, platters and a bar tab. The Basic package is $1,800 for 60 guests with four platters and a $250 tab, and the Premium package is $2,400 for 80 guests with six platters and a $500 tab. For a seated meal, two courses are $45 per person and three courses are $54 per person, served alternately from two choices per course. Platters, savoury grazing tables and sweet tables can be added or ordered on their own. The pub hosts birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, work Christmas parties and wakes.
