About Polperro Winery
Polperro is a family-owned winery on Red Hill Road in Red Hill, run by winemaker Sam Coverdale and Emma Phillips. The estate takes in a cellar door, a vineyard restaurant, an organic farm and villa accommodation. A private event here means the restaurant and its grounds are yours alone. The contemporary dining room looks out over the Talland Hill vineyard and a row of old Angophora trees, with a fireplace for winter and doors that fold back onto the deck in summer. The lawn and deck extend the space outdoors for drinks, stand-up receptions or vineyard ceremonies. Capacity changes with the season: up to 60 seated or 80 standing from May to September, and up to 80 seated or 120 standing from October to April. Executive Chef Gayan Pieris cooks from the estate farm, which supplies much of the kitchen's produce at the height of summer. Add-ons on request include an oyster bar, a paella cooked by the chef, a cheese and charcuterie grazing table and a cocktail hour. Every event includes a dedicated events manager and an Even Keel beverage package chosen with the winemaker, with a single vineyard wine package as an upgrade. Send an enquiry to receive the events brochure and check dates.
