About The Station Hotel

The Station Hotel is a pub at 59 Napier Street in Footscray, known for its steaks and a menu with a French lean that changes through the year. It trades daily as a bar and restaurant, and its functions team takes bookings across seven areas, from a single deck in the beer garden to the whole restaurant. Out in the beer garden, hired exclusively, there is room for 150 people, plus its own outdoor bar, semi-covered seating and screens for sport. Half the garden suits around 75, while Deck 1 and Deck 2 take 25 and 40 standing (20 seated each). Inside, the main bar is a semi-private room for 50 standing or 20 seated, set up for cocktail-style drinks. The restaurant can be booked in sections or taken over entirely for sit-down dinners of up to 80. Food is ordered as a package for groups of 20 or more. Canapé packages run from 6 items at $40 per person to 10 items at $61, with share platters and extra substantial items available on top. Shared set menus start at $73 per person for two courses, with a three-course option at $83 and a butcher's menu of shared steak boards at $99. Drinks can be a timed package (two to four hours, from $53 per person), a bar tab with a limit you set and can raise during the night, or a cash bar where guests buy their own. You are welcome to bring a cake with no cakeage fee, and the venue is wheelchair accessible throughout.
