About Eleni's Kitchen + Bar

Eleni's Kitchen + Bar is a Greek restaurant at 28 Anderson Street in Yarraville village, run by two sisters and named after their grandmother. The family has been cooking in Yarraville since 1971, and the menu still leans on Yiayia Eleni's recipes. The restaurant has four spaces for private dining and events. Upstairs, Anatoli's Lounge seats 16 and Thierry's Champagne Room seats 22, while the Main Dining Room takes 90 seated or 110 for a cocktail party. Downstairs, Dimitri's Garden seats 44 or holds 60 standing. Dimitri's Garden is styled like a Greek taverna courtyard and is sealed against wind and rain, with heaters for cooler nights. On sunny days The Terrace across the way adds more outdoor seating. The Main Dining Room can be set out in several layouts, including one with a dance floor. For a seated function there are two share banquets: Dimitri's at $75 per person with dips, saganaki, a meat platter, salad, lemon potatoes and dessert, and Eleni's at $85 per person, which adds a seafood platter and roasted peppers. Canapé packages for private functions of 20 or more start at $50 per person, and a grazing table can be added. Drinks run on a basic package at $30 per person or a deluxe package at $50 per person, or on a bar tab with a limit you set and top up. The venue has a projector, microphone and speaker system, and can arrange a Greek band, a DJ or plate smashing for an extra charge. Each space works on a minimum spend that varies by day and by lunch or dinner, and there is no room hire fee. Send an enquiry with your date and guest numbers to check availability.
