About The Firehouse
The Firehouse is a restaurant and bar in the former Ringwood Fire Station on Maroondah Highway, a building that opened in 1929 and served the area for more than 65 years. Today it runs four bars and five function spaces around a large beer garden, with a smoker at the heart of the kitchen. The Deck at the back is fully enclosed and heated, has its own bar and looks over the beer garden, holding 120 standing or 70 seated. Upstairs, the Brigade Room is a private room for 90 standing or 70 seated, and the Garage Bar takes 125 standing or 60 seated across inside and outside areas. For smaller groups there is a cosy space to the left of the restaurant seating 32, and two private dining rooms seating 14 and 24 with a projector available. The restaurant and front deck can be booked on Sundays, and the beer garden can be taken over for up to 300 standing. Cocktail packages run at $39 or $49 per person with canapés, sliders, small bowls and dessert, and grazing platters for 10 to 14 guests are $150 each. Seated groups have a feed-me menu of shared entrées, smoked meats, sides and dessert at $69 for two courses or $79 for three, and a carvery on the deck is $55 per person. Drinks can be paid as guests go or on packages from $45 per person for three hours, rising to a spirits package. The Deck, Brigade Room and Garage Bar have built-in sound, wi-fi covers every space and DJs are welcome. Each space carries a space fee plus a food and drink minimum spend that changes with the day and session. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to hold a space.
