About Quadraphonic Club
The Quadraphonic Club is a community music venue at 345 Victoria Street in Brunswick. It takes its name from the four-channel sound systems of the late 1960s, and it is run like a traditional members' club, with a kitchen, a bar and a busy gig calendar. For private events there are two rooms to choose from, or the building can be booked as a whole. The Ballroom is the larger space, with a stage, a full sound system and access to an outdoor area. The Ballroom takes around 300 guests standing or 200 at tables, which makes it a realistic option for a wedding reception or a large milestone party. The Club Room is smaller and set up around its own bar, holding about 150 people standing with bar seating. The interiors lean into the club's hi-fi theme, with warm lighting, retro furniture, vintage stereo gear and a grand piano. There is also a pool table and lounge seating, so guests have somewhere to drift between speeches and the dance floor. The club's own kitchen, Percy Jones Kitchen, runs on site, and the bar is part of every booking. Food and drinks for a function are worked out with the events team once you have chosen a room.
