About The Budgie Bar
The Budgie Bar is a cocktail bar set in a converted warehouse on Maroondah Highway in Ringwood, next to Ringwood Lake. It mixes an industrial fit-out with neon, a classic car collection and a sunny beer garden, and runs live music and DJs on Friday and Saturday nights. The Warehouse is the original space, an open floor with a concrete bar, copper beer fount, shipping-container seating, the Cacti Corner photo spot and a street-art beer garden. Booked privately it holds 80 to 250 guests and includes the garden. The Showroom is lined with classic cars, from Ferraris to Holdens, and has its own bar with premium spirits, wine and two tap beers, for private or semi-private events. The White Room takes 20 to 65 guests with a portable bar and suits cocktail parties, displays and wedding ceremonies, and Holly's Bar & Kitchen next door seats 20 to 60 for dinners. Food comes from Holly's kitchen. Canapé packages are $40, $55 or $75 per person with savoury and sweet bites such as sausage rolls, party pies, arancini, pastizzi and churros, and a long antipasto table can be added. Drinks can run as a bar tab on consumption or as packages from $65 to $95 per person, with options for cocktails on arrival or cocktails all night. Events run for four hours, and DJs and three-piece bands can be booked through the venue. The Budgie is an 18+ venue and security is required for some events, including 18ths and 21sts. The range includes sausage rolls, party pies, quiche bites, empanadas, croquettes, pastizzi, arancini, cannoli and brownies, with vegetarian, vegan and low-gluten options. A charcuterie and antipasto table can be added for $1,000.

They depend on the space and day, ranging from $500 to $25,000. The Showroom starts at $500 Monday to Wednesday and $4,000 Thursday to Sunday, with semi-private hire from $2,500. The White Room is $5,000 Thursday to Sunday, Holly's is $3,000 on Mondays and Tuesdays, and The Warehouse is $3,000 Monday to Wednesday or $25,000 Thursday to Sunday.
What food and drink packages are available?
Canapé packages are $40, $55 or $75 per person, and an antipasto table is $1,000. Drinks packages are $65, $80 or $95 per person, or you can run a bar tab on consumption.
Can we book a DJ or band?
Yes. A DJ is $1,000 and a three-piece band playing three 45-minute sets is $2,500, subject to availability. The Warehouse has a stage and PA, and a TV and microphone can be hired for $20.

Yes, it specialises in standing, cocktail-style weddings. Wedding food packages are $95 to $115 per person and drinks packages $95 to $150 per person, and The White Room has an arbour of Australian native plants for ceremonies.
