About The After Party
The After Party occupies a brick warehouse on Railway Place in Preston, built around 1904 and used over the decades by leather merchants, a dentist, a furniture dealer and a toolmaker. Its owners have kept the industrial frame and softened it with plenty of plants, pale timber and copper details. The venue is hired as a whole, and the main floor holds up to 300 guests. It can be laid out with cabaret tables, theatre rows or long benches mixed with high bar tables and stools, and plants and screens can carve out smaller, cosier zones for a more intimate group. Beyond the main room there is a small garden for anyone wanting a breather, plus a lounge with leather couches where guests can take a quiet moment. You can bring in your own decorations, and vehicles can drive straight into the building for easy unloading. Food is up to you: self-cater entirely, or work with the venue's caterer, whose grazing tables start at $800 and per-head packages at $19. There is also room for a food truck beside the garden. The bar is fully stocked and run by RSA-trained staff, and a bar tab, cash bar or table-service drinks package can be arranged. AV with a full PA and two large screens, a DJ, live-streaming and acoustic live music are all available as extras. Events run during the day and need to be finished by 5pm. A venue manager looks after each booking on the day, and you can send an enquiry to check dates and put together a package.
