The Cherry Hill Hotel is a local pub on Reynolds Road in Doncaster with a family bistro, a terrace overlooking the hills towards Warrandyte, Eltham and Kangaroo Grounds, and the Sports Bar at the front of the building. There is complimentary on-site parking, and the functions team also runs events in the terrace and a semi-private bistro area. The Sports Bar is the most private of the function spaces. It has its own entrance and can be closed off from the rest of the pub, holding up to 120 guests. Inside are a fully stocked private bar with seven beers on tap, two pool tables and two electronic dartboards, with AV for music or presentations and a private smoking area. Specialty beers, wines and spirits can be added for your event. Exclusive use of the Sports Bar is a $5,000 minimum spend on food and drink for a five-hour event, which includes unlimited pool and darts. The canapé package is $30 per person for six items, roughly eight to ten pieces each, for 30 guests or more, and platters from $110 can be added. Drinks can run as a bar tab with a limit that can be lifted or switched to a cash bar, or as a package from $50 per person. A $500 deposit confirms the booking, and functions with a DJ or band may need extra security.
