About Space 263
Space 263 is a privately hired event room on Edwardes Street in Reservoir, run by the family behind a local event styling and prop-hire business. They opened it to give the northern suburbs a dedicated party space, and their styling team handles the set-up for events booked there. The venue is one open, 360 square metre room with white walls and a polished floor, so it can be arranged as long banquet tables, round tables, a cocktail layout with a dance floor, or a boardroom-style set-up for business events. It seats up to 100 guests. It is air conditioned and heated, and has a bar area for serving drinks, a kitchenette, restrooms and a change room. Street parking is plentiful and public transport runs nearby. The room is booked for birthdays from 21sts to 40ths, engagement parties, bridal and baby showers, christenings and corporate functions such as end-of-year parties, product launches and client thank-you events. Because the owners also design and build event styling, each booking can be themed with floral installations, balloon garlands, backdrops and dessert tables. Bookings start with an enquiry form listing the event type, date and times, followed by a walk-through of the space.
