About OJ Lounge @ Oakleigh Junction Hotel
The Oakleigh Junction Hotel is a historic pub on Portman Street in Oakleigh that has stood for more than a century, with a sports bar downstairs and a function room called the OJ Lounge. It faces Oakleigh train station, with buses and a taxi rank right outside, which makes it an easy meeting point for a crowd. The OJ Lounge is a modern, timber-lined room that holds up to 100 guests standing. It has its own fully stocked bar, booth seating, wall-mounted TVs and Bluetooth connectivity so you can play music from your own device. A pool table is there for guests to use, or it can be moved to free up a dance floor. Functions are booked as five-hour cocktail packages. Silver, at $1,700, includes food and beverage staff, one security guard, four platters, use of the AV equipment and a $100 bar tab. Gold, at $2,200, adds two more platters, a $250 bar tab, free use of the pool table and a cocktail on arrival for the host. Extra platters run from $50 for chips and wedges to $120 for seafood, cheese and gluten free selections. Bar tabs can be set to a limit or left open and cover beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks and cocktails. A DJ for five hours can be added for $750, a digital photo booth for $400 and cake cutting for $50.
