About Function Room @ Diamond Creek Hotel
The Diamond Creek Hotel sits on the corner of Main Hurstbridge Road and Station Street, behind a heritage facade. It is a full-service local with a bistro, a sports bar, a lounge bar and a rooftop terrace. Its Function Room is upstairs, reached by stairs or a lift. The room has a bar of its own, a private balcony and audio-visual gear, so a group can keep to itself for the whole night. Set up for a cocktail party, the room holds 160 people. For a seated celebration it takes 100, and photos show it dressed with white-clothed round tables on a tartan carpet. Cocktail functions run on platter packages at $22 per person, with four to six items depending on numbers, and extras such as mini burgers, arancini or fish and chip baskets can be added. A seated dinner is served alternate drop at $55 for two courses or $65 for three, with dishes like beef cheek, stuffed chicken supreme and pavlova. Outside catering is not allowed, though you can bring a cake (a $50 cakeage fee applies to seated menus), and the hotel can order cakes in with two weeks' notice. The house sound system takes a phone or Spotify playlist, and you are welcome to bring in a DJ, jukebox or acoustic act. Functions run for five hours, with extra hours available. A 50% deposit holds the date and the balance is due two weeks out, so send an enquiry to check availability.

Been here a few times over the years and twice in last month. The menu selection is great and everything we've ordered has been impressive. Great portion meals and good variety of vegetables/sides are included.
