About Rubix Warehouse
Rubix Warehouse is a club and events space on Phoenix Street in Brunswick, set inside an industrial building with high ceilings and a raw, grungy finish. It runs its own club nights, and the same room, sound and lighting are available to hire for private parties and corporate events, either as a whole venue or room by room. The venue holds 300 and is split into three spaces. The main room and dancefloor takes up to 250, with its own bar, quieter corners, a 5 by 6 metre stage that can be set up conventionally or in a boiler-room layout, a VOID sound system, a lighting rig and LED panels for visuals or branding. The steampunk-styled bar is fully enclosed and suits 20 to 70 guests on its own, or it can be broken into six VIP booths for groups of 6 to 14. The front room seats or stands about 50, with natural light by day and built-in booths, and is set up for workshops and presentations. The venue is wheelchair accessible. A standard hire runs five to seven hours and includes an hour of bump-in, the stage, the sound system and a Pioneer DJ rig, house visuals on the LED wall, lighting and access to the green room. Weeknight hire is a $750 fee plus a $3,600 bar minimum; weekends are $750 plus $6,600. Drinks packages are offered at standard, premium and platinum levels, and outside drinks are not permitted. Extras such as DJs, an event coordinator, a dedicated AV tech and door staff can be added.

Great venue, pretty good DJ. Good to have the 2 bars. Just a shame when I was there it was pretty much empty. But great for me to dance freely. Friendly people. Will be back!

One of the warehouse greats of Melbs. Home of quite the eclectic mix of events, I'm for the techno, psy variants, featuring accompanying performances from artists of various disciplines. And there's air con!!
