About Zsa's Bar & Bistroteca
Zsa's Bar & Bistroteca is a bar and bistro at 202 High Street in Northcote, open from Wednesday to Sunday. The kitchen cooks European-inspired share plates from a menu that changes every week, built around produce from small local growers, fishers and butchers. For functions there are three ways to book. The private dining room seats smaller groups away from the main floor without feeling cut off from it, while the courtyard is a garden-wrapped, undercover space that is heated in winter and strung with fairy lights after dark. The courtyard seats 6 to 36 at tables or holds up to 50 for a standing party. Seated groups of 8 to 30 can be spread across the private dining room and courtyard, and cocktail events of 20 to 50 can use the courtyard with the main bar and dining areas. Full venue hire takes in the bar, the main dining room and the courtyard, with room for up to 120 guests standing. Exclusive hire is subject to a minimum spend that depends on the day and time of the booking. Food for a cocktail function can include grazing tables and seafood stations set around the room, with staff walking canapés and drinks through the crowd. Seated groups choose from curated set menus, and the chef's selection menu starts at $85 per person. The drinks list covers local and international wines, and the team puts together a food and drinks package to suit each event.
