About Oliva Social
Oliva Social is a private events venue at 102-104 High Street in Preston, run by owners Adam, Tijana and Carl. What was once a quiet local bar has been reworked into a glam industrial warehouse given over entirely to celebrations. The venue is split across three areas: the ground floor, a mezzanine level and an open-air courtyard. Each is fully private, and together they take up to 110 guests seated or 200 standing. The fit-out is set up for parties. Guests get a full PA and AV setup, surround sound and microphones for toasts or live acts. A DJ booth comes fitted with decks and monitors, festoons and coloured lights set the mood, and the building is heated and cooled. Mesh feature walls and fixed drapery give a backdrop for installations and signage. The in-house styling team, Vince and Claude, can design custom backdrops, drapery, floral direction and feature lighting, then install and pack it all down on the night. The kitchen cooks generous, shared-style food built on family recipes, and per-head packages can be adjusted with the chefs to suit your menu. Weddings are run cocktail style with plenty of seating, and ceremonies can be held on site as well. The team hosts weddings, engagements, milestone birthdays, christenings and corporate events, with gatherings running until midnight. How many guests can Oliva Social hold?

Is the venue private for our event?
Yes. All three areas – the ground floor, mezzanine and open-air courtyard – are fully private for your function, with both indoor and outdoor space to use.
What AV and music equipment is there?
A full PA and AV setup runs through the venue with surround sound and microphones for speeches or live acts. There is also a DJ booth fitted with decks and monitors, plus festoons and coloured feature lights.
Can Oliva Social style our event?
Yes, styling is done in-house by the Vince and Claude team. They can create backdrops, drapery, florals, lighting and signage, work with the venue's AV on the day and handle the pack down afterwards.
How late can events run?
