About Mulgrave Country Club
Mulgrave Country Club is a sports and social club at the corner of Wellington and Jells Roads in Wheelers Hill, with bowling greens, tennis and squash courts, a bistro and a set of function rooms. Events are open to non-members, who simply sign in on arrival. The Mulgrave Room takes up to 150 guests and, with its extension opened up, up to 300, with a private bar, dance floor, built-in audio, a projector and a portable stage. The Panorama Room also holds 150 and adds a private balcony. For smaller groups, the Heritage Room fits up to 50 with a bar just outside, the Terrace takes up to 60 with heaters, fans and drop-down blinds, and the Cabana Area seats up to 50 across four booths. Room hire covers five hours and includes tablecloths, napkins and, in the inside rooms, a projector and screen. The cocktail menu is $40 per person for eight savoury items, and banquets are $53 for two courses or $63 for three, with a children's menu for those 12 and under. Outside catering isn't allowed apart from one celebration cake. Drinks can be a four-hour package at $45 per person in the Panorama and Mulgrave rooms, a bar tab to a set amount, or guests buying their own once the bar minimum is reached. Music finishes at midnight, or 11.30pm on the Terrace, and the club has around 400 parking spaces.

Sunday functions add $5 per person and public holidays add $10 per person. A $500 deposit confirms the booking, security starts at $300 for one guard, and full payment is due seven days before the event.
Food
Children 12 and under have a cocktail or banquet menu of their own. Dietary needs must be given ten days ahead, with a $5 per person charge for special meals, and one celebration cake can be brought in with a $2 per person cakeage fee.
Beverages
Guests can also buy their own drinks once the room's minimum bar spend is met. Outside alcohol isn't permitted.

How much is room hire?
Room hire is $250 for the Heritage Room, $300 for the Terrace or Cabanas, $400 for the Panorama or Mulgrave Room and $600 for the Mulgrave Room with extension. Each booking covers five hours.
What are the food packages?

Is there a minimum bar spend?
For Friday to Sunday events, the minimum bar spend is $300 on the Terrace or Cabanas, $800 in the Panorama Room, $1,000 in the Mulgrave Room and $1,200 with the extension. A four-hour beverage package at $45 per person is offered in the Panorama and Mulgrave rooms.
Do I need to be a member to hold a function?
No. Functions are open to the public, and non-members just sign in on arrival as the club's licence requires.
