About Moon Dog World
Moon Dog World is a large brewery venue at 32 Chifley Drive, Preston, open seven days. The building pours from 72 taps and fits a waterfall, an indoor lagoon, a beer garden, raised sun decks and a tucked-away pinball and games room under one roof. For parties there are five semi-private areas. The Top Deck takes 70 to 100 people and looks over the whole venue, the Half Top Deck suits 30 to 60, and the Top Deck Booths take 20 to 40 with two diner-style booths and a 70-inch screen. The Jungle Deck is a plant-lined platform above the lagoon for 20 to 30 guests, and the Large Container has booths and counter stools for 20 to 50 right beside the bar. These areas are reserved for your group but share the main bar, bathrooms and venue music, and a standard function runs for four hours. For a fully private event, The Brewery sits among the brewing tanks with its own bar and music, room for 200 standing or 150 seated, and step-free access. It is usually available on weekends, with a minimum spend set by date and length and a 20% deposit to confirm. Food comes as party packages of smaller and bigger bites such as pies, sliders, tacos and haloumi from $29 to $58 per person, with a sweet bite available as an add-on. Groups of 20 to 80 can sit down to a shared family-style menu from $60 per person, and The Brewery offers a canapé menu from $46 per person. The Brewery runs on a minimum spend that depends on the date and length of the event, and a 20% deposit secures the booking. A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.
Food
The shared menu brings starters, roast chicken, slow-roasted lamb shoulder, roast pumpkin, salads, potatoes and dessert to the middle of the table. The Brewery's canapé menu adds oysters, prawn ceviche, tartlets and wagyu sliders.
