About Likor Lounge @ The Stolberg
The Stolberg is a pub on Plenty Road in Preston that serves lunch and dinner most days, with a wine list, craft beer and cocktails at the bar. Behind the public areas sit four function rooms – the Likor Lounge, the Mahogany Room, the Stolberg Room and the Garden Bar – which between them handle groups from around 25 guests up to a few hundred. The Likor Lounge is the one built for big parties. It takes 80 to 240 guests in a cocktail layout, and comes with its own entrance, a private bar and its own toilets, plus an attached courtyard. Inside you will find leather lounges and booths, chandeliers, coloured lighting and a long bar, along with a stage, DJ booth, projector and TV and AV system, so it suits a band, a DJ or speeches and slideshows. Heating and cooling are included. The pub notes there is no wheelchair access to this room. The functions team plans the food with you, offering either a sit-down menu or cocktail-style food, and helps match the event to your budget and theme. The pub lists 18th, 21st and 30th birthdays, engagements, work and Christmas parties, corporate events, weddings and product launches among the events it hosts. Prices for function food and drinks are not published, so send an enquiry with your date, numbers and budget and the team will come back to you with options.

A little too noisy for us on Friday evening at dinner, acoustics hurt our ears. So will visit another night next time. The staff were superb, natural, listened and went above and beyond for us. Food great.
