About Eltham Hotel
The Eltham Hotel is a heritage-listed pub at 746 Main Road in Eltham, first opened as Watson's Hotel, with a family bistro, a sports bar and a terrace. It has two spaces for private events, covering birthdays, engagements, corporate meetings and family dinners. The Watsons Room is the smaller of the two. Guests enter from Pitt Street through a separate door, and the room has a heritage bar, its own toilets, a sound system and a TV, and suits cocktail parties and seated meals as well as meetings. The function pack lists 40 for cocktails and 20 seated, with theatre, boardroom and U-shape layouts also available. When a group is too big for that room, the restaurant can be booked for exclusive use, with its own bar, amenities and entrance, for up to 150 standing or 120 seated. Food is set out in packages. Canapé options are $22 per person for five pieces, $30 for eight, or $40 for five canapés and two handheld items such as brisket sliders or pulled pork tacos. Feasting menus served to share are $46 per person for two courses or $56 for three, with a children's meal at $16. Corporate catering is $30 for a half day or $45 for a full day and includes Wi-Fi, a flipchart and a smart TV. Drinks packages for three hours cost $40 or $50 per person, and you can also run a bar tab or let guests buy their own. Watsons Room hire is $200.
