About The Function Room @ Rosstown Hotel

The Rosstown Hotel is a pub on Dandenong Road in Carnegie with a bistro, front bar, sports bar and beer garden. Carnegie Station and local bus routes are close by, and there is a car park behind the hotel for guests. The Function Room is on the first floor, above the bistro and front bar. It is closed off from the rest of the hotel, so your group has the space to itself, and arched windows keep it bright during the day. The room seats 100 for a dinner or holds 150 for a cocktail party. It comes with a dance floor, a microphone and in-house audio, plus a projector and TV for speeches or slideshows. Access is by stairs only, as the hotel has no lift. Catering ranges from canapé packages with cold, hot and sweet selections to plated two or three course menus served alternate drop. Platters and charcuterie grazing tables suit more casual gatherings, and dietary needs can be catered for. Drinks are charged by the glass on a bar tab, and beverage packages can be arranged. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, apart from a birthday or wedding cake. A tentative booking is held for seven days, and a deposit confirms it. Menu choices are due two weeks before the event. Send an enquiry to book.

Pretty good pub food. This is one of those rare scenarios where I'd rather a smaller portion + price. Each plate was massive but came with a big price tag as well. I reckon one plate could've fed two people. Enjoyed e…

Quite disappointed with my Parma here. Thin and quite dry. The steak was no better. Quite chewy not tender. I did also try the chicken Kiev ,which was quite nice thankfully and best of the lot .
