About Beer Garden @ The Terminus Hotel
The Terminus Hotel stands on the corner of Queens Parade and Brennand Street in Fitzroy North and has been a local pub for more than 150 years. The number 86 tram stops out front, and alongside the beer garden it runs craft beer bars, footpath dining and a restaurant, open seven days from 11.30am. The beer garden takes the most guests of any space in the pub. It is filled with hanging greenery and string lights, with banquette seating, timber tables and high bar leaners. Booked exclusively, it takes 200 guests cocktail-style or 120 seated and comes with a private bar. Smaller groups can book a section instead: the large beer garden holds 110 standing or 80 seated, and the small beer garden 50 standing or 40 seated. The garden is wheelchair accessible and is also used for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Food starts with canapé packages of four, five or seven pieces, plus substantial bites such as wagyu sliders, mini fish and chips and Philly cheesesteaks. Seated groups of 20 or more can share a two or three course banquet, and there is a backyard barbecue cooked on the Josper grill, with grazing tables, a pizza pack and paella as add-ons. Drinks packages run for two, three or four hours at standard or deluxe level, each with soft drinks, juice, light and non-alcoholic beer. Spirits and cocktails on arrival can be added, and the pub also offers bar tabs, cash bars and drinks on consumption. The shared banquet offers entrées such as bruschetta and lamb ribs, mains such as pork belly, braised beef and baked ocean trout, and a choice of sides. The barbecue covers sausages, rissoles, chicken and veggie skewers and salads, with paella and seafood as extras.

Basic spirits add $12 per person each hour, premium spirits $15, and a cocktail on arrival is $20 per person. Bar tabs, cash bars and drinks on consumption are also offered.
